EVERY DAY MAKE UP ROUTINE- AUTUMN

Hey guys, thought I would spend some time to give you a little incite into my everyday make-up routine. In the above picture is everything that I use (minus brushes).

I use the urban decay naked palettes all the time and in this occasion I have used 'tease' in the naked two palette all over the lid and I think it gives just the right amount colour for both daytime.

These are the brushes I use on a daily basis, I normally use a dense buffing brush for my foundation and then just a normal flat eye shadow brush. These are from ebay and ELF.

These are the two eyebrow products that I use all the time, i use the sleek brow kit where I just use the powder in the brow to give it some colour and then using the brow drama to stay in place and to make it more natural.

Then finally I use the sleek contour kit to contour (obviously lol) and it's in the colour fair, which I think gives a nice colour since I'm really pale it doesn't make me look orange in anyway.

Thanks for reading guys, hopefully keep up with some new and interesting posts for you.

What make up do you wear everyday?

SKIN CARE ROUTINE- 3 STEP CLINIQUE

Well hello guys, this is long over due and again I would like to apologize for my absence when it comes to my blog. Been pretty busy since being back at college but I was in the mood to get back into this so lets get to it.

This is going to be my skin care routine. I know that I have mostly been putting up fashion posts, but I have been really interested in make up and skin care stuff a lot recently and my skin has not been this good since before I was a teenager so why not share why my skin secrets to you, even though they aren't really secrets.

Most bloggers will know a lot about Clinique skin care and or have tried the 3 step system out themselves. There isn't much that goes into this routine if I am honest. I do this routine 2 times a day, and with these results I can not see me changing for a very long time.
Due to me having rather sensitive and dry skin I was finding it really hard to find a facial cleanser that wasn't doing more damage to my skin, so I am using the extra mild facial soap which is so gentle and kind to my skin I really haven't found anything wrong with it. I don't take my make up off with this as I want it to go straight onto a blank canvas so it works better for me. With that, I then go on to use the clarifying lotion with is a very gentle exfoliate which just take all the extra dirt and make up off my skin which was left over from the first step. Once that dries in I then go in with two pumps of the dramatically different moisturising lotion and gently rub that into my face and down my neck using up and outwards motions to prevent wrinkles of course.

So that concludes my skin care routine, nothing to hard to do and makes it a very pleasant experience to use these products and I definitely know that i wont break out as these products aren't scented which is a great bonus for me.

Thanks for reading, what is your favourite skin care products?

Update on life...

Long time, no post..I would like to appologise for my absense with my blog. It's definitely been deglected and it makes me sad, I really want to make this work but im the least organised person at the moment, I suck at everything.
Since my time in London way back in june there have been some personal issues that have happened and put me off track with everything and I wasn't sure how I could get back into things to be honest.
Im now back in college and I am now gettinv back into the swing of things and trying to get into life as a fashion student again. Blogging this year is hopefully going to get better, and I really want to promise that for you. As I think it will benefit me greatly. College is very full on this year, so I really need to work out what I need to fix regarding college work and blogging. Wish me luck!!

I hope you guys can understand and lets hope that all goes to plan in the future of my blog.

MY WEEK ON INSTAGRAM No.1

Hey guys, so this post is about me introducing a new segment to my blog, which I'm callingt 'MY WEEK ON INSTAGRAM' - I see many bloggers around doing their on variations of this kind of post, and It's also giving me a chance to post regularly to my blog as I feel like I have been slacking quite a bit recently. With all this free time that I have, why not use it for something useful and what other people might enjoy seeing. So here is my first post of my new segment, follow me on Instagram for all of my pictures- @fionaannecummings

from left to right

1. The biggest picture is of my final grade in college for this year. I actually cried a little when I saw that I had got an A. I spent many nights and days making sure that my graded unit was the best i could do and with this result how could I not be happy? Bring on 2nd year :)).
2. The small collage is a picture I made for my London post, which you can find on here obviously. It was one of my highlights of this year by far, and can't wait to go back and experience more of London and see what else it has to offer for me.
3. The catwalk picture is from the London Graduate Fashion Week, Best of graduate week. This was such a great experience also for me and my friends, to see what the future could hold for us and getting to see such great pieces of fashion. So many things are changing in the world of fashion and crazy how many things are accepted. It's amazing!
4&5. The bottom two pictures are of me with the girls I have been closest to this past year, I'm not sure if my boyfriend would have coped with me this year, if I hadn't been for these three lovely girls. Sad to see Colette go off to college, but I wish her the best of luck in University. And for Holly and Jenna, I can't wait to have another year of the panic, stressfullness and crazy whatsapp conversations ever. Bring on second year!!

Thanks for reading, and I hope you guys like these instagram posts :))

LONDON- GRADUATE FASHION WEEK

On the 2nd of June I was thankful to be able to go down to London with my college and experience the last day of Graduate Fashion Week. Being able to experience London was just amazing on it's own, let alone be able to see the Best of Graduate fashion week catwalk show.
London is definitely a place where I'm going to experience more of in the future, to see the sights and be a tourist. I'm a big fan of Royal Family history so the tower of London and Buckingham Palace are next on my list. I was rather surprised how much tube tickets were, and the fact that they are all so fast it was better than waiting on trains for hours.
First of all before the show we went to, me and friends went along to Spittalfield market, which we spent quite a bit of time looking round at all the interesting and original pieces. I'm not one for vintage and wacky clothes but I did find everything pretty cool and jazzy, and wished that I was one of those people that could pull  off something like this.

But yeah, that's enough about the boring stuff and let me talk about me and my other college friends and lecturers went down to the Old Truman Brewery, where the graduate fashion week was held.
Around the area of the event, me and some friends went and explored the streets a little, just to kill some time before we were allowed to go in and see all the graduates work and the universities. I must say that the street art on the walls are beyond amazing!! You don't see this kind of stuff around my home town, so it's lovely to see such amazing talent being used on small streets in such a big city.
After going about the small streets near the location, we then headed in to look round universities and got to see a large amount of amazing work by the graduate students. Unfortunately I didn't take many pictures of the work and of the Best Of graduate fashion week show, but there are a lot of pictures and footage from the shows and the week in general on blogs, instagram and twitter. But I got a few wee snaps from the show and I thought I would share.
Overall my experience in London was very memorable, and I honestly can't wait to go back and see more of London, being a tourist is rather fun and exciting. I can't wait to share this with Jamie one day.
Thanks for reading my little ramble of my London experience, so if you want to see more pictures from my trip please go follow me on Instagram- fionaannecummings and follow me on twitter for my blog updates-fionacummingsx
Thanks again.

Style Sunday- Spring Night Time

Style Sunday- Spring Night Time

1. H&M- £20
2. River Island- £40
3. Asos- £23
4. John Lewis- £65
5. Forever21- £4.10
6. Debenhams- £32

I know its been forever since I have done a Style Sunday but blogging really hasn't been part of my week recently. But due to being on my Easter break from college I thought i would give it another go.
With this look I thought I would do something that is Spring related, and I love night time looks at the moment so I put together something that could be worn out, possibly for dinner or drinks with the girls. I keep most of my outfit quite simple because I don't like things to complicated, so a pair of trousers and a nice cami seemed like a good way to go. a nice simple black heel and clutch to go with it. I added the naked 1 palette because I think this is something everyone should have because you can get every kind of look out it and its so versatile.

So I hope you like this small look and that I am going to try really hard to keep up with my blog and I'm trying to get some reviews to post, review for the primark make up for example, so heres hoping that i can get those up for you soon.

Style Sunday no.3- coffee date

Style Sunday no.3

Hi guys, I have another Style Sunday for you. This time I decided to go for a theme, and that being a casual afternoon coffee date, or just a coffee with a girlfriend to just have a catch up. Again I have kept it quite simple with nothing to complicated.

1. Jumper-Pull Bear £20
2.Jeans- House of Fraser £40
3. Bag- H and M £35
4. Boots- H and M £30
5. Watch- Monniefreres.co.uk £152
6.Urban decay Naked Pallette- any department store £36

I added the eye shadow palette because I have a bit obsession with the naked palettes, I have the first two and this one is on my wishlist, even though the colours aren't much different, they are always a good thing to invest in I think, and they will be getting used on a day to day basis.
I think the Jumper and Skinny jeans are a good pairing and make it smart casual if you are going out in the afternoon, the boots and bag with that give it a little something without going over the top.
So use this as some inspiration if you are struggling and please leave some feedback and maybe suggest other things you guys might want me to style.

follow, comment and tweet me :)

Style Sunday no.2

Style Sunday no.2

Hey guys, this is another Style Sunday, I thought i would base this outfit on what I would wear on a weekend. You could wear this out shopping, its casual and comfy, but with the gold jewellery it still gives a little something, and looks more put together. Boyfriend Jeans are on my wishlist for this season, mainly because I am always in Skinny jeans and never really do anything new. So here is the list of where you can pick up the items.
1. H&M, £15
2. H&M, £30
3.Cambridge Satchel Company, £120
4. Converse, £45
5. Harvey Nichols, £230
6. River Island, £16

I tried to keep the items in the high street, but sometimes that is not always possible. But having a watch or a statement piece that costs a bit more isn't a big deal. Plus Micheal Kors watches are all over the place right now, you'll be struggling not to find one on someones wrist.
I'm liking doing these posts, but if you have any other things you guy would like to see then please, tweet, email or/and comment below. I really like feedback and get to know my readers a bit more and what they would like to expect from me.

Style Sunday

Style Sunday
This is going to be my new thing, Style Sundays. Since I pretty much always have a Sunday off I'm going to do this, so I have more regular things going in my blog and not waiting weeks for something new. I hope you all enjoy and please give me some feedback if you all like this idea, or if you don't let me know.

1. CHECK SMOCK DRESS, ASOS £18
2. DR MARTEN BOOTS, AMAZON £80
3. LEATHER JACKET, MANGO £38
4. BLACK BAG, RIVER ISLAND £25
5. BARRY M NAIL VARNISH, BOOTS £3.99

These are just a few small things that I would pair with the dress, both the Dr martens and smock dress are on my current wishlist, I just like the look of how they would go together. And in my opinion, everyone needs a pair of plain black boots in their wardrobe, they don't obviously have to be Dr Martens, but just something along those lines.

Anyways, tweet, email or comment on this post and tell me what you guys think.

Mini Beauty Haul- Boots

These past couple of months I have been looking more and more at make up than I have been looking at clothes, And at first I thought this was quite weird for me, but I'm actually really enjoying experimenting with different kinds of make up.
This is just a short post to show you guys what I have recently purchased from boots online.

Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoos
These are the Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoos, the pots have been out for a while and I never really took any chances in buying any, until i watched a few girls on youtube wearing them and thought It would be such a great idea if you were in a hurry. Being a student I never feel I have the time at 6am, so these might help. They have also been said to be a good dupe for the MAC paint pots.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder (02)
The Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, again is one of those things that are always raved about, in blogs and on youtube. So I thought I would give It ago, as my other press powder had ran out. Because I am so pale, I struggle to find a powder that doesn't make me look patchy or orange at the same time. So this one seemed perfect, and for the two times I have used It, I can't complain.

Seventeen, waterproof mascara (black)
This was a random, but an essential purchase. My mascara was long over due to be flung out, and i get quite lazy and never repurchase things when they need to be. But I finally went and done it, this is just a seventeen mascara, was only £4 so I thought 'why not?' It's in the colour Black and is waterproof, and is a non plastic brush which I prefer.

Sleek Contour Kit (Light)
I have been looking for this for so many months it seriously is ridiculous! Any Superdrug counter I would go to never had it in stock or never had my colour. Being pale is not easy haha
But this is the ever so famous Sleek Contour Kit, it has a matte bronzer and a highlighter all in one small packaging. I'm still to try this out as It only came yesterday. Im very excited to try this out and possibly do a review for you guys, even though loads of bloggers and gurus use it out there.

Sleek Brown Kit (Light)
Last, but not least this is the Sleek Brow Kit, again this is another item that was never in my colour or in stock. Im so glad boots are now stocking them now, and it's so easy to shop online nowadays. I'm still to use this also, I've never been one for filling in my brows or such. So lets see how that turns out, it's going to take some getting used to, and I so hope it lives up to the hipes.

Thanks for reading guys, please drop me an email or tweet me if you would like to see more posts like this, or have any other ideas for more posts.

Happy New Year, and i hope you all had an amazing and splendid holiday.
I've been so overwhelmed with the amount of gifts and love i have received this Christmas and i just want to thank my family and my boyfriend for making it so very special. Now that it's all over I'm now considering what I'm going to make of myself this year.
2014, jeez time surely flies when you have fun, and 2013 has been a good year, not the best but it's had so many amazing qualities to it. Me and my boyfriend celebrated our 1 year anniversary on the 1st there, and I can't believe it. He's one thing that I count on the most in this world and now I wouldn't know what I would do without the guy. Planning on having another great year together.

I will be going into my second block at college on the 14th and my HND is fairly coming along nicely and very fast, I'm struggling to keep up sometimes. But with it being a new year, I wanted to make some resolutions and stick with them this year. I say this every year and nothing happens, but I'm very determined this time! My main ones I would say are, hitting the gym, blog more, eat better and be more consistent with my college work and build my portfolio as I go along. It's a short list, but I didn't want to get ahead of myself and say things I wouldn't be able to keep. I'm not very comfortable with my body at the moment and I'm setting a goal to make myself love me again, I used to love my body, I was toned and a size 10. I need to train myself to be motivated and get to the goal I want and not chicken out and stay lazy.

This post wasn't for any special reason, was just mainly to wish you lovely people a very happy new year and to tell you some of my goals this year, 2014.

Why not tell me yours? Leave a comment or tweet me (@fionacummingsx )
