MY WEEK ON INSTAGRAM No.1

Hey guys, so this post is about me introducing a new segment to my blog, which I'm callingt 'MY WEEK ON INSTAGRAM' - I see many bloggers around doing their on variations of this kind of post, and It's also giving me a chance to post regularly to my blog as I feel like I have been slacking quite a bit recently. With all this free time that I have, why not use it for something useful and what other people might enjoy seeing. So here is my first post of my new segment, follow me on Instagram for all of my pictures- @fionaannecummings

from left to right

1. The biggest picture is of my final grade in college for this year. I actually cried a little when I saw that I had got an A. I spent many nights and days making sure that my graded unit was the best i could do and with this result how could I not be happy? Bring on 2nd year :)).
2. The small collage is a picture I made for my London post, which you can find on here obviously. It was one of my highlights of this year by far, and can't wait to go back and experience more of London and see what else it has to offer for me.
3. The catwalk picture is from the London Graduate Fashion Week, Best of graduate week. This was such a great experience also for me and my friends, to see what the future could hold for us and getting to see such great pieces of fashion. So many things are changing in the world of fashion and crazy how many things are accepted. It's amazing!
4&5. The bottom two pictures are of me with the girls I have been closest to this past year, I'm not sure if my boyfriend would have coped with me this year, if I hadn't been for these three lovely girls. Sad to see Colette go off to college, but I wish her the best of luck in University. And for Holly and Jenna, I can't wait to have another year of the panic, stressfullness and crazy whatsapp conversations ever. Bring on second year!!

Thanks for reading, and I hope you guys like these instagram posts :))

LONDON- GRADUATE FASHION WEEK

On the 2nd of June I was thankful to be able to go down to London with my college and experience the last day of Graduate Fashion Week. Being able to experience London was just amazing on it's own, let alone be able to see the Best of Graduate fashion week catwalk show.
London is definitely a place where I'm going to experience more of in the future, to see the sights and be a tourist. I'm a big fan of Royal Family history so the tower of London and Buckingham Palace are next on my list. I was rather surprised how much tube tickets were, and the fact that they are all so fast it was better than waiting on trains for hours.
First of all before the show we went to, me and friends went along to Spittalfield market, which we spent quite a bit of time looking round at all the interesting and original pieces. I'm not one for vintage and wacky clothes but I did find everything pretty cool and jazzy, and wished that I was one of those people that could pull  off something like this.

But yeah, that's enough about the boring stuff and let me talk about me and my other college friends and lecturers went down to the Old Truman Brewery, where the graduate fashion week was held.
Around the area of the event, me and some friends went and explored the streets a little, just to kill some time before we were allowed to go in and see all the graduates work and the universities. I must say that the street art on the walls are beyond amazing!! You don't see this kind of stuff around my home town, so it's lovely to see such amazing talent being used on small streets in such a big city.
After going about the small streets near the location, we then headed in to look round universities and got to see a large amount of amazing work by the graduate students. Unfortunately I didn't take many pictures of the work and of the Best Of graduate fashion week show, but there are a lot of pictures and footage from the shows and the week in general on blogs, instagram and twitter. But I got a few wee snaps from the show and I thought I would share.
Overall my experience in London was very memorable, and I honestly can't wait to go back and see more of London, being a tourist is rather fun and exciting. I can't wait to share this with Jamie one day.
Thanks for reading my little ramble of my London experience, so if you want to see more pictures from my trip please go follow me on Instagram- fionaannecummings and follow me on twitter for my blog updates-fionacummingsx
