FAMILY WEEKEND

Well it was that time of year again when everyone dresses up and come together to celebrate Gala Day. It was extra special this year as my little cousin was 1st page this year and had a very important job of reading the proclamation. He done an amazing job and the best one I have ever heard if Im honest.
Thankfully the rain stayed off pretty much all day, and the sun was beaming down at the crowning in the park. Normally if you are in the court you have to dress up your house with a certain theme. His was Dr Who...and with that came a great challenge but it turned out amazingly. A lot of hard work went into making crepe paper flowers and painting characters...weeks of prep for only one day. You must think it's crazy but it's all part of the fun really.

The whole family had a really good time throughout the day and at night when we all came together to go to the dance that they have every year for the court and committee. It was a great turn out and was great to spend some quality time with the family.

Thanks for reading and I hope it gives you a little something different to read and what i got up to during my weekend. Keep up to date with my instagram for regular updates on what I'm doing.

GLASGOW CLYDE COLLEGE FASHION SHOW 2015

To round up from my last update, I have now finished my 3 years at college. I now have a HND in Fashion Design and Manufacture and passed my course with a 89% A. Three years have went in so quickly and it really is scary to think that I will be at University in September. But thats another post.

To round up my last year at college myself and my classmates organised our final year fashion show. Everything was crazy but went surprisingly smoothly with only some slight chaos, but we pulled it off and done an amazing job with everything.

We all had to make a four piece collection which were inspired by our set class themes: Nordic Nomad, Bloom and Multiply. My collection was inspired by Bloom but taken from the dark and mouldy side. The name was 'Living Dead'. The dead looking aspects of living fungi and mould, obviously the prettier things in life...Not.

The experience was amazing and we all had a great day! Everyone should be extremely proud of their collections, we have worked so very hard this passed year and we deserve a very big glass of wine. I do want to wish all my classmates all the best in the future and hope they enjoy every minute of life.

Bring on University!

RECENTLY ON INSTAGRAM #1

Hello my lovelies,
I thought it was about time I done a recently on Instagram post, I have been posting quite a lot recently, which is weird for me, as I'm definitely one of these people that will take a million and one pictures just so I can find the one that is Instagram worthy. So these are some things that you will see on my Instagram (@fionacummingsx).

These two pictures are from a couple of walks that I have been on, mostly during the weekend on when my boyfriend comes over. We tend to spend quite a bit of time walking, mostly due to the fact I live in the countryside and if it's a nice day then I always think that we should take in all our surroundings when we can have the opportunity.

Since I have finished my HND course and it's summer time, I definitely think that this is the best chance for me to expand on my blog and make this more personal and better for my readers. These last two pictures are basically representing my blogging over the past month. I bought a new planner and i'm well into fixing a schedule for myself and finding something that will be manageable for me. I try really hard to focus on things that I want to do well in, and for a hobbie I feel like blogging is the way to go, it's a way for me to get my opinion across and my thoughts and feelings on something that might come up.

These are definitely photos I don't normally post on any social media if I'm honest, but since I left school back in 2012, me and my younger brother have definitely got closer. We do often bicker and get annoyed at each other, but what siblings don't? We have came a long way from not being able to stand each other, to being able to sit in a room and talk for a few hours about whats going on with each other and ask how things are going. In a way I just want to say that I love my wee brother to bits and I don't really know where I would be if he wasn't around, and that I thank you David xo.

This picture is definitely more personal and quite emotional for me to even write this, but these are my grandparents. They are the most amazing people that I have ever met. They are no longer with us anymore, it's upsetting as I feel with all the amazing things that I have done I wish that they were here to experience everything thing with me. They both died from cancer and with my profit cut that we raised from the fashion show, I donated my £30 to cancer research as I feel that someone out there needs it more than I do and will hopefully be able to survive and live longer with their families.

I know the last piece was a little bit of a downer, but I do encourage anyone to donate to any charity as there will be someone out there that will benefit from whatever change you have in your pocket.
Thanks for reading and hopefully you got to know me a little better.

LIFESTYLE CHANGES

Hello my lovelies,

This is going to be a much different kind of post for you. You normally see me posting mostly fashion related things, and yeah it's a really important part of my life and it will be my career one day. But it's about time we got some personal things on here as well and I feel like my weight loss journey is good place to start.
Since I was younger I was quite slim, I was very into sports and was a tomboy for some part if my life, I played football, netball, I done athletics..I loved exercise. But then puberty hit and everything else took over, I hung out with friends, and just spent time being a teenage girl and enjoyed the aspects of makeup, fashion and boys.
But now I'm 21 years old and have been in a relationship for almost 2 and a half years. Everyone knows when you get into a relationship you both get comfortable with each other and no longer care that you have gained 2 dress sizes.

For me I now care and wish to change it. My mission now is to loose at least those 2 dress sizes. I'm not about numbers I go buy how clothes look like on me. I'm excited and determined to see my life change for the better! You might be getting quite a lot of food posts, but who doesn't love a nice looking foody pic..?
I'm definitely welcome to tips and trick, so help me out!
