AUTUMNAL MAKE UP FAVOURITES

This is definitely my favourite time of year, the chill in the air, the hour more in bed, the colours of the leaves and snuggly scarves. But I really do like changing up my make up routine for autumn, using a foundation instead of a bb cream and using dark colours on the eyes and on the lips. Even though when I'm at University I hardly ever wear make up and if I do it's just a little mascara and concealer. But for the times when i do want to wear make up these are the products I have been reaching for.

This Foundation is a new one for me, being as pale as I am I struggle all the time to see what foundation doesn't make me slightly orange. The true match foundation has been around for years and is a cult favourite in the blogger and youtube community. I decided to give it a go since it gave a dewy finish, and having dry skin I am all for looking glowy. It feels great on the skin and I haven't broken out so that is a bonus for me.
Everything else is kinda normal to my past make up routines, the new Urban Decay palette is definitely suitable for this weather and gives you great options for day to night time looks.

For more information on my make up routines or any ideas for tutorials, comment or tweet me ideas and I will be sure to get some looks for you.

RECENTLY ON INSTAGRAM #2

So autumn is well and truly upon us and all I can think about is big chunky knitted scarves/jumpers, boots and bold dark lips. Everyone can pretty much agree with me in saying that most of us from Scotland already thought Autumn was here when it was August, But seeing those leaves change make it more official. Here is another 'recently on Instagram' post for you guys.

Im so happy I can now wear my boots for the colder weather. The tan boots are from Primark, I needed a new casual boot for this season and for £15 I wasn't going to say no, even if they don't last too long Im not going to feel bad for only paying so little for boots. The black ones are more pricers, unfortunately they have to be the most uncomfortable boots ever, I have been trying to wear them more, but after a while they really do hurt. I just can't part with them just yet.

Just a few weeks ago I had to get my eyes tested after realising in lecturers that I was squinting quite badly just to see the board. These are my new glasses that are Karl Lagerfeld, I'm lucky enough to get a student discount with them, so it was good for the bank balance.

Im currently down in Galasheils Studying Bsc Fashion Technology, And this was a picture of me ready for my Friday lecture. I'm obsessed with this shirt from Betty Jackson, I got it around this time last year, I love this colour and feel like it really compliments my skin tone.

This picture just makes me appreciate anytime I'm at home, the view at evening time is just so beautiful. It was one time it wasn't raining and I got a picture of the sunset. The mist just coming down for the frost to settle. My weekends at home are the best.

These are my current make up favourites right now. I use these products pretty much every day, mostly because when I have class I really can't be bothers grabbing my eyeshadow palettes and doing a face eye look. Keeping it simple makes life so much easier for a 9am start. But since the weather is changing, I will no doubt start wearing a heavier foundation. Look out in the next couple of weeks for most make up favourites for the colder months.

So I'm a student and I'm obviously always on my phone, even when I'm meant to be studying I find my self always strolling through some sort of dashboard or newsfeed to see what everyone is getting up to. But currently Snapchat is my favourite, I love having a nosy into the secret life of celebs and getting the silly double chin snaps from my friends. It seems to be the most normal site, even though you can add slight filters, theres hardly any editing involved. So it's kept simple. I am also loving there new features they have added, these just make you look extra funny. But if you are like me and like to see what I'm upto, add me// fionaanne94 .

HOW I KEEP CONNECTED

Theres loads of things I couldn't live with out and honestly my phone is definitely one of them. I spend every minute on it, messaging my boyfriend to checking my social media and keeping up to date with the latest, and looking at my stats on my blog to see what you guys are loving.

I could give you a very long list of all the apps that I use but I will try and keep things short and not long winded for you.

1. WHATSAPP
This my most important app, it's where I talk to everyone. If you aren't on my whatsapp then theres a problem. It's where I talk with my boyfriend and everyone that I'm close to. I have crazy group chats with friends and even one with my parents and brother. I get everyone to get whatsapp only because it's so easy to use, hardly uses data and can keep everyone connected in one place.

2.TWITTER
(@fionacummingsx)
Twitter has always been something that I have been interested in. I find it so easy to just spill anything that I'm feeling and not have to worry about people judging me. If you don't want to listen to my stuff then you don't need to follow me and thats what i like about it. I also find it a great way to connect with other bloggers and people I look up to and see what is going on with them and if they have posted something new recently. For bloggers like myself twitter always have fblchats and that gives us all a chance to get together for an hour online and talk about all things fashion, beauty and lifestyle. Give it a great chance and follow me if you're interested.

3. INSTAGRAM
(@fionacummingsx)
Instagram has been one that took me ages to get used to. I wasn't one for taking selfies and posting everything up for everyone to see if ( apparently I am now haha). But I do feel like it's a good way to stay connected with everyone and get inspiration from others. Being a fashion student all social media can be relevant in some way towards my course, plus I can be a bit nosy, but who isn't sometimes? I don't post as often as I should on Instagram just because I have a weird thing with making all my pictures perfect and ever since I decided on having a theme It has gradually got worse, but I am trying to do better. Promise!

4. FACEBOK GROUP

(Gingee in Fashion)
This something that I have just plucked up the courage to use and make a page for my blog. Mainly because I was scared of being judged by people that wouldn't really understand much about blogging and think I might just be talking a load of rubbish to randomers. But since I done it, I really haven't looked back and it has seemed to be going pretty well.

5. SNAPCHAT

(fionaanne94)
This is an app that I find great for just being nosy, bloggers and youtubers do it as part of their vlog maybe or just to keep up to date. I like seeing what people are up to and sharing the same with my friends. it's so easy to use and I always love the double chinned selfies me and my best friends will share to each other.

These are pretty much all the apps I use to keep up to date with everyone, they are fun, useful and always helpful.

WHERE HAVE I BEEN?

First of all I would like to take the time and apologise for myself be absent for a good month or so.

I have recently started University and I am now in my 3 week, and everything is already being hectic. I am Study Bsc Fashion Technology in 2nd year, Im adjusting to uni life pretty well I would say, wasn't something I was looking forward to in the beginning, took me a good week or so to think that my uni accommodation wasn't a hotel room.
Im very lucky that my flat mates are extremely nice and easy to get along with, which was another worrier cause I was scared they would be crazy or whatever.

Hopefully when I settle in properly my blog will kick off again, but please don't hate. My Uni work is very important in order to do well I need to give 100%.

Thanks for still reading.
