SECOND TRIMESTER UPDATE

Well hello third trimester, I honestly can't believe we are at this point in my pregnancy already. The last leg and I can definitely say I am starting to get nervous with having to give birth and having a baby at the end of it.

There has been a few things that have went on through out this trimester, from symptoms, to finding out my blood type and experiencing a bleed and having to go to hospital. It's been a crazy one, but it's not been all bad, with having the little one move around inside me has been a great experience.

SYMPTOMS
Thankfully my morning sickness died down eventually around 16 weeks, which helped alot because it was really getting me down and making me feel run down and miserable all the time, which isn't fun for myself or anyone having to put up with me. Yes there has been the odd day when I haven't felt 100% but I think thats just part of it, and definitely wasn't anything as bad as what it was, so that I am very grateful for.
Since I have gradually got bigger through the past few weeks it has definitely put a lot of strain on my back and has been rather difficult with regards to work and general day to day things. It is definitely weird being able to do everything to being restricted with certain things and making life harder just by making a little baby in your tummy. Bring on squats until baby is here.

20 WEEK SCAN
The 20 week scan was a pretty quick appointment, and me and H had decided on finding out the sex of the baby, so I got all excited all morning and in the appointment we just said to the nurse that we were wanting to find out, which is completely fine. After we had debated about it for so long I think it was a sign that our wee ones legs were shut and we weren't able to find out what it was. Can you believe it? Just our luck, but you know it was just meant to be that way and make it a better surprise for us when it comes to giving birth to baby. So what are you guessing? Boy? Girl? There will be a poll on my twitter soon and you can give me your guess there, or feel free to comment on this post. It will be fun and exciting to see who gets it right, because at the moment I am very undecided.

Any other questions please tweet me and I will answer them as soon as I can.

MAKE UP FAVES THIS SUMMER

This summer so far I have been keeping my make up really simple for everyday, or whenever I can be bothered wearing any make up to be honest. Being pregnant has made me enjoy sleep a lot more than getting up earlier in the day to put make up on. But when I have been it's been super easy and very natural.
One thing I have made sure I have been doing is having a very good skincare routine while pregnant, my skin has been very up and down and very dry so I am constantly moisturising morning and night and this definitely helps with my foundation and concealer application. It makes everything go on so smooth and making it look very natural as not a lot is needed. Using my Real Techniques Sponge helps me achieve this and also making it fast to apply and not making too much fuss.  Everything else is pretty easy, an eyebrow gel, Mac Blush in Harmony which is used to colour my face and on the eyes for a bit of shadow, and then my usual mascara and liquid highlighter for some finishing touches.
If you are looking to keep your make up routine for everyday natural, try and stick with minimal products and things that work well with your skin, and just practice so when you want to be quick in the morning, so it becomes second nature to you.
Follow me on Instagram to keep up to date with any new products I might be using or something different I am trying. It might be on there before here.
