With getting into blogging I have really struggled to get my bum in gear and try and keep motivated with it. But this summer I made a decision that things had to change and I had to figure out a way in which I will be able to make the best of my blog right now and try my hardest to stay focused on posting regularly.
In March I was given an Macbook Air 13" for my 21st birthday, mainly so I can use it in University and was easy to transport. It honestly has been the best present I have received, apart from my DSLR. I was new to an Apple computer as I was always a windows person. But it didn't take much time to get used to it and the layout was pretty easy to get around. This is a very big part of my blogging, it keeps me motivated if I have something nice to work on. You can use any type of computer, But being able to take mine on trains makes things a lot easier, and I'm not dreading on transporting my laptop to make sure I get a blog post up on time.
Next has to be my planner/ diary which is from Paperchase. They has the cutest stationary in there and to me and pretty much every other girl I love pretty stationary. Im pretty sure it was around £20 which for me was perfect, I love the look of filofax's and Erin Condran planners, but they were just way to expensive for me being in college as a student. This for me is a perfect size to go in my bag and is great to lay out my scheduling I like to do for my blog. I would recommend anyone getting into blogging and wanting to keep focused on managing posts for certain dates, get a diary/planner, you will not regret it!!
What would be a blog without any good pictures? And I honestly don't know what I would do without my Nikon DSLR camera. This was another present for my 18th birthday and I have produced some great pictures with it over the years. Im still an amateur and I will definitely need to keep working on making the pictures the best that I can. But this is something that keeps me motivated and wanting to make things look better for my readers and with nice pictures brings nice posts in my opinion. I feel a lot of blogs are picture based, but look the most interesting and that is a goal for myself.
Lastly, what could I do if I didn't have my phone. I live for my phone and I do everything on it. It is the Samsung Galaxy S4, I know it's not an iPhone, but I prefer android and to be honest there isn't much difference and apart from the software that they use. All the apps are the same and those are the most important part of being in the blogging community. Social Media, it has to be one of the best tools that has been invented. You can communicate with people all over the world and are able to talk to your readers directly and for me I think it's great that I can say I have a new post just launching and they can read it instantly. And for me to be able to look at my favourite bloggers on twitter and Instagram gives me huge motivation to keep focused on my blog and expand it and keep improving my skills to make things perfect for my readers and others. So maybe one day bloggers can use me as inspiration.
Thanks for taking the time to read and look over how I try and keep focused when it comes to blogging.
