GO TO DAYTIME MAKE UP

These are my favourite kind of posts to read and I hope you guys enjoy them too. This is my everyday face and the products that I use. Most of which have already been on the blog but they are faves at the moment.

1. Base

Foundation
I have been starting with a bb cream under my foundation to keep my skin extra highdrated so that my foundation goes on smoothly, but I don't always use this step, it just depends on when I apply my moisturiser.
The foundation is probably the part I can struggle with the most mainly because I can never find a foundation suitable for my skin, until now. I have been using the Loreal True Match foundation with my Real Techniques Expert face brush for a while and it has gave me the best look since I have been wearing foundation itself. I sometimes switch the application with my Real Techniques sponge, but mine is currently on the road out and I need to repurchase. I highly recommend the foundation if you have dry skin like myself and like to have a nice duey finish to your skin.

Concealer
This is without a doubt my holy grail concealer, which is the Collection Last Perfection Concealer in the shade 1 fair. This is perfect for everything, and even with dry skin it still looks amazing. It's definitely full coverage and covers blemishes brilliantly. For my under eye I have been mixing the concealer with my foundation to make it less heavy under my eyes, and this really helps it not to crease as much. But for a great high coverage all round amazing concealer, definitely pick this one up!

2. Eyes and Eyebrows

Eyeshadow
For my eyes during the day I definitely keep it simple, unless I am feeling extra bold and want to try all my eyeshadows at once. So for this I always reach for my Urban Decay Naked Palette, this was the first ever high end brand and product that I ever bought and it is still one of my favourites to this day. I normally just give a wash of the colour Naked all over the lid and maybe the colour Buck in the crease, but if I'm in a rush then it is mostly just a lid colour. Something simple and easy to apply in the rush out the door.

Mascara
Mascara for me is something really important, without it I really do feel naked. I could wear only this on my face and be quite happy to go out. At the moment I have been trying a Clinique sample, at the moment it seems okay, but it really stings your eyes if they water and the mascara gets in, so that is something that puts me off about the formula. But apart from that, the mascara gives me everything I need in itself, it gives length and volume and I can't ask for anything better. But the stinging is something that bothers me about it and if forcing me to change. I would definitely try out samples first before buying the actual product because you never know what the product could do to your eyes or face and if you react badly to it, it would just be a waste of money, especially if its high end.

Eyebrows
I have been keeping my brows really simple at the moment as I am trying to get a natural look back and make them slightly thicker, so leaving them to grow has been such a horrible experience, only because I like nice neat brows, but hopefully get them waxed soon, so they look much better. But all I have been adding in my brows has been the Maybelliene Brow Drama, which is a tinted gel and keeps them tamed and gives the hairs a little colour. Which is a bonus if I am not regularly getting them tinted with my eyebrow lady. But for a cheaper alternative to Gimme Brow by Benefit I would definitely recommend this product.

And for lips I just add a bit of my Carmex lip balm just because it's easy to apply and lipstick is too much hassle for me everyday..lol

This is pretty much all my products that I use for my everyday/ got to day time look. It's simple and rushing out the door friendly.
Let me know if you recommend any products, mascaras etc...would be great to hear what you guys think.

EASY AND AFFORDABLE EYEBROW ROUTINE

This is my easy and affordable eyebrow routine products. These have honestly been so good and easy to use on my brows for such a cheap price.

As you might see in most of my posts is that most my make up posts have the Maybelline Brow Drama product, and this is because I could not do with out this at all. No matter what products I use to fill in my brows it is always tamed with this brow gel it is honestly so good. And is under a tenner which you can't go wrong for such a good product. The powder in this is actually a Make up Revolution eye shadow which I had originally bought for a contour shade, but who was I kidding using this on my pale white skin haha. But I decided I wanted a dark brow one day and used this shadow and honestly haven't looked back, the colour pay off for a £1 shadow was amazing. and with the gel it lasted pretty much all day I was really impressed.

As you can see it has definitely been well loved and I will be looking to purchasing it again very soon. Definitely recommend looking at eye shadows as brow colours as some palettes for brows can be pricey and not everyone can afford it. So check your local Superdrug for their counter.

FAVOURITE LIPSTICK RIGHT NOW// MAC'S WHIRL

This is just a short post to show you my favourite lipstick at the moment. MAC's Whirl lipstick, everyone knows this colour being one of Kylie Jenner's fave, but I am a bit late on that band wagon. But this has been a long awaited purchase for myself.
My Uni flat mates kindly gifted me with a mac voucher for my birthday in March and this was what I bought with it. I am so happy and feel so grateful for them to give me something that I will get a lot of use out of.

It is a nice dark grungy dark nude colour almost brown which everyone in the blogger community is loving right now, so if you can get you hands on it, they do sell out really quickly so hurry :)

Thanks for reading and follow me on all my social media and see what I get up to every day.

MAKE UP REVIEW

For this post I am going to talk about my make up review, there aren't many but it's mainly only my new faves, that I had been gifted to myself for my birth back in march and after having a good trial of these products I can now give my honest opinion on them. So lets get into it :)

My birthday was on March 1st and my boyfriend wanted me to suggest somethings for him to buy me, I hate when he asks but I thought I might get myself some make up out of this since he asked. These products are all very affordable ranging from £5-£10, each were all under and tenner and I could not say no to trying these out after hearing so many good reviews on all of these.

First of all are these brow products from Freedom Make up, The pomade and brow pallete, these are dupes for the Anastasia Beverly Hills ones, and we all know that those a pretty pricey. I am all for budgeting in make up, obviously it wont be exactly the same but it is a good enough dupe with probably less pigmentation.

The Pomade is something that I have found really difficult to use, it is really pigmented but I just can't seem to get the right amount to use on my brows that doesn't look too much of a block colour. But I will give it some practice and get back to you with a more in depth review. But overall so far is that it seems to be a great consistency and colour pay off, they have a great range of colours as well which suits all skin and hair tones.

The brow palette was my most favourite to try out as I had heard that the colour ranges were really good, and I would definitely agree with this, Take a look on my instagram for selfies and check the my brows. It will depend on my mood if I would want a deep brow or a faint natural looking brow. And with these colours they definitely help you with this option. The palette itself comes in 2 sets and has all the shadows together, or you can buy them individually. For me I like having this palette as I am hoping to try on some people and branch out for make up artistry soon.

The Next one I would like to talk about is the strobe cream, For me I have extremely dry skin and anything that gives me a glowy face is a bonus for me. This was one I was quite disappointed, but again I want to try and keep using it to see if I can find a way in which it will change my opinion of it. The reason I'm not too fussed with it is because it starts to flake off if it put in on under my foundation and start applying my foundation on top. But if anyone has any recommendations of using this product a better more useful way I am all for it.

Last but no means least, the Nivea Post Shave Balm in Sensitive. This has been floating about the beauty blogger and Youtuber community for a while now and I can not believe I am only just talking about it. This was something that I was very uncertain about trying, only because it is scented and I have a extremely sensitive skin to scented products, but none the less I gave it a go and I will not be using anything else for a while. I am really impressed with how this has worked with keeping my make up on all day. I was never one for a primer, but now I can't go back. I have even convinced my mum to buy her own because she was so impressed with it when I told her to try it before we went out for dinner. She is now just as obsessed as I am.
This is definitely one I would recommend to anyone!

Excited to buy more from Freedom Make up and review them for you! I am trying to make up a kit for myself so that I have some good all round products, so keep an eye out for those posts!
