For this post I am going to talk about my make up review, there aren't many but it's mainly only my new faves, that I had been gifted to myself for my birth back in march and after having a good trial of these products I can now give my honest opinion on them. So lets get into it :)
My birthday was on March 1st and my boyfriend wanted me to suggest somethings for him to buy me, I hate when he asks but I thought I might get myself some make up out of this since he asked. These products are all very affordable ranging from £5-£10, each were all under and tenner and I could not say no to trying these out after hearing so many good reviews on all of these.
First of all are these brow products from Freedom Make up, The pomade and brow pallete, these are dupes for the Anastasia Beverly Hills ones, and we all know that those a pretty pricey. I am all for budgeting in make up, obviously it wont be exactly the same but it is a good enough dupe with probably less pigmentation.
The Pomade is something that I have found really difficult to use, it is really pigmented but I just can't seem to get the right amount to use on my brows that doesn't look too much of a block colour. But I will give it some practice and get back to you with a more in depth review. But overall so far is that it seems to be a great consistency and colour pay off, they have a great range of colours as well which suits all skin and hair tones.
The brow palette was my most favourite to try out as I had heard that the colour ranges were really good, and I would definitely agree with this, Take a look on my instagram for selfies and check the my brows. It will depend on my mood if I would want a deep brow or a faint natural looking brow. And with these colours they definitely help you with this option. The palette itself comes in 2 sets and has all the shadows together, or you can buy them individually. For me I like having this palette as I am hoping to try on some people and branch out for make up artistry soon.
The Next one I would like to talk about is the strobe cream, For me I have extremely dry skin and anything that gives me a glowy face is a bonus for me. This was one I was quite disappointed, but again I want to try and keep using it to see if I can find a way in which it will change my opinion of it. The reason I'm not too fussed with it is because it starts to flake off if it put in on under my foundation and start applying my foundation on top. But if anyone has any recommendations of using this product a better more useful way I am all for it.
Last but no means least, the Nivea Post Shave Balm in Sensitive. This has been floating about the beauty blogger and Youtuber community for a while now and I can not believe I am only just talking about it. This was something that I was very uncertain about trying, only because it is scented and I have a extremely sensitive skin to scented products, but none the less I gave it a go and I will not be using anything else for a while. I am really impressed with how this has worked with keeping my make up on all day. I was never one for a primer, but now I can't go back. I have even convinced my mum to buy her own because she was so impressed with it when I told her to try it before we went out for dinner. She is now just as obsessed as I am.
This is definitely one I would recommend to anyone!
Excited to buy more from Freedom Make up and review them for you! I am trying to make up a kit for myself so that I have some good all round products, so keep an eye out for those posts!
